Why relocate your horn and add a secondary horn?

Installing an additional horn enhances the overall tone and volume when the horn is activated, making it far more noticeable.

Recently, there has been a significant increase in thefts of VF Commodores, particularly push-button start models. A common method used by thieves involves cutting the inner guard liner, disabling or cutting the horn wiring, and then forcing entry through the locks—all without triggering the alarm.

This process is quick and has proven to be an effective way for thieves to access vehicles undetected.

This kit relocates the factory horn and wiring into the engine bay, positioning them out of easy reach and making tampering far more difficult. In many cases, once thieves see the vehicle has been modified and is no longer standard, they abandon the attempt and move on.

Installation Details

Note: The factory low-tone horn is reused. Only the high-tone 510Hz horn is supplied with this kit.
